Goodnight Moon and The Runaway Bunny
Prices start at: $10.50
Baum Walker Hall

Mermaid Theatre of Nova Scotia (The Very Hungry Caterpillar) returns with an innovative double-bill adaptation of Margaret Wise Brown and Clement Hurd's beloved bedtime classics, GOODNIGHT MOON and THE RUNAWAY BUNNY.

GOODNIGHT MOON is a celebration of familiar nighttime rituals, while THE RUNAWAY BUNNY's pretend tale of leaving home evokes reassuring responses from his loving mum. Both tales feature endearing rabbit characters, and the soothing rhythms of bunny banter and dream-like imagery never fail to infuse young readers with a reassuring sense of security and peace. Whimsical puppetry and evocative original music will bring a new sense of appreciation to stories that have delighted several generations.

Ages: 2-7

Pajama Party/Kid's Drive

To celebrate the spirit of goodnight rituals, Walton Arts Center encourages children to come to the performance wearing their favorite pajamas! We also want to recognize those in need by partnering with the Northwest Arkansas Women's Shelter (NWAWS) to get the word out about domestic violence. Before both performances, there will be a representative from NWAWS on site handing out information, talking with patrons and collecting donations for women and children affected by domestic violence. Please show your support for the community and NWAWS by bringing any of the following items to the performance:

-New Pajamas for children
-Non-perishable food items
-Coloring books
-Monetary donations
